Back to school worries. Karl & Ali Chat no 7

“I’m fine” does not always mean a child is fine.

As children return to school, unfamiliar teachers, classrooms, routines and friendships can bring up feelings they may not yet know how to explain.
In this conversation, Karl Bennett from EAPA speaks with Ali Knowles, founder of Ollie and his Super Powers, about what may be happening beneath back-to-school anxiety.

They explore how children communicate through behaviour, tone and body language, how they can absorb the unspoken worries of adults around them, and why simply reassuring them that everything will be fine is not always enough.

The Ollie approach helps children understand what they are feeling and gives them practical tools to manage those emotions, building skills they can use throughout their lives.
