Suicide Awareness training

Suicide Awareness Training

10th July 7pm

Suicide rates for 15-19 year olds are the highest they have been in 30 years, young men are 3 times as likely to take their own lives compared to their female peers, but these figures are probably not the true reflection of the results of where suicide intention was present.  Many more young people either have suicidal ideation, attempt suicide, and a greater number still self-harm.

Therefore we have engaged The OLLIE Foundation to deliver suicide awareness training for us. Their mission is to reduce the incidence of suicide, especially among young people, whilst empowering a broader community with the knowledge to safeguard lives in the present moment.

This session is designed to educate and raise awareness about suicide prevention. Join us as we discuss warning signs, how to offer support, and resources available for those in need. Together, we can make a difference and help save lives.
